The Apollo Saxophone Quartet perform Richard Rodney Bennett's quartet at the 2015 RCNM Saxophone Day.
This work was written for ASQ in 1994 and has firmly established itself as one of the best examples of British saxophone quartet repertoire.

"Journey Across the Impossible" has proved to be one of the Apollo Quartet's most popular projects.

After searching the dusty archives of the British Film institute, the members of ASQ wrote music to accompany a collection of silent films, some of which are over a century old. The project has evolved over time, with more films and music being added to the set as new personnel joined the Apollo lineup. The group has toured extensively with this bizarre and thought provoking set of movies and it has been well received at music festivals and film festivals alike.

Apollo collaborates with the great Barbara Thompson to bring about the Apollo Saxophone Orchestra project.
